LAUNCH SEMINAR FULL – REGISTRATIONS NOW CLOSED

Launching YouthMetre

The YouthMetre e-tool, empowering youth to contribute to youth policy development, will be launched on February 14th 2017, 14.00-18.00 at the Committee of Regions in Brussels.

The e-tool has been developed in response to the European Commission’s ‘Structured Dialogue‘, which seeks to to encourage “mutual communication between young people and decision-makers in order to implement the priorities of European youth policy cooperation and to make young people’s voice heard in the European policy-shaping process”.

We invite NGOS working with youth, policy makers and young people (aged 18-30) to register for and participate in this free seminar on engaging youth in youth policy dialogue. Partners will officially present the tool, on the occasion of the seminar “YouthMetre: an innovative tool for e-participation of youth in policy-making across Europe”. Note registration is required due to heightened security at the venue and spaces are limited.

The event will bring together representatives of European institutions, local and regional authorities, civil society associations, experts and young people to exchange knowledge, experience and good practice on how to involve young citizens in the decision-making process, both at the local and European level.
